MISSION
Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota
Hold First Tri-State MUFON Meeting

September 27, 2008 marked the first ever collaboration of Minnesota, North Dakota and South Dakota
on a Tri-State meeting.   State Directors Richard Moss (MN), Kurt Pfleger (ND) and Lorna Hunter (SD)
joined together to present this informational meeting which was held in Fergus Falls, MN.

The meeting was attended by an enthusiastic group of 25; the youngest being a mere 10 years of age
(possibly another John Greenwald?).  They came from as far away as Bismarck and Fargo, ND; Twin
Valley and Farwell, MN.   Several of the attendees related personal accounts of their experiences with
UFOs and Bigfoot, and one read from a diary of a family member which recounted a harrowing
experience with a glowing craft.

MN State Director Richard Moss presented the first, in a series of six, PowerPoint’s titled “UFO: The
Secret that keeps itself,” which covered the history of UFOs from cave drawings through Kenneth
Arnold.  He also informed the group about MUFON – brief history, what we do and why we do it – and
the importance of membership. All three State Directors fielded questions from the audience; the usual
concerning UFOs, but also questions about crop circles, decapitated goats, and strange birds with
enormous wingspans all of which have been reported in the area recently.

Attendees left armed with business cards, magnets, brochures, literature, and membership applications
for themselves and to share with friends.  Plans for future bi-monthly meetings were discussed with the
next meeting planned for Nov. 22, 2008.

Conclusion:  We’re calling this meeting a SUCCESS!
